Don't Quit

Just found this poem some place and it struck to me to be so valid. Many a times we try really very hard to achieve something. If the things aren't going our way, we try for sometime and just quit doing it when we really are the closest to achieving it. If we had not quit, we might have achieved it. This poem addresses the same thing.

What really struck me was the last 5-6 lines of the poem which starts with "And you never can tell how close.....". How many times have we stopped doing something coz we are hit reallybad at it?? It can be in anything thing right from sports, down to exams. Hope it can serve as an inspiration for some of us atleast. So here goes the poem.

When the things go wrong
as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging
seems all uphill;
When the funds are low
and the debts are high;
And you want to smile,
but you have to sigh;
When care is pressing you
down a bit ...
Rest if you must,
but don't you quit.
Success is failure turned inside out,
the silver tint
of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell
how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so afar,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit...
It's when things go wrong,
that you must not quit.
